Definitely Ready For 2008!

From all of us at Hollywood Magazine, we wish you very happy holidays – whatever you may celebrate at this time of year – Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, Festivus … here’s hoping you had a great year and that 2008 will be even bigger, better and brighter!

It has been an exciting yet turbulent year for me, the magazine and the world in general. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, friends and all the new friends I have made along the way in creating Hollywood Magazine.

It’s hard to imagine that this is our fifth issue already and we’re getting close to our first anniversary (April 1). In 2008, we’re looking forward to showing you sides of Hollywood that you may never have seen or that time may have forgotten. We’re also planning to cover all the exciting changes coming to Downtown and the Beach, and we’ll take a look at who’s hot in Hollywood, as well as some of the fine arts and culture around town.

Inside this issue, our writer Jill Cole spent the day with outrageous NBA star/South Florida resident Dennis Rodman – you won’t want to miss this “day in the life” piece! We also had our editor Caryn and writers Lori and Ann visit some of our local spas to see what make them so popular (I think they wish they could keep doing updates to this article all year long!). Our holiday fashion guide will show you some dazzling attire for the new year as well as holiday glitz and glamour. We suggest a few romantic gift ideas for that special someone for Valentine’s Day, and present a few interesting and entertaining features about some of our neighbors and local businesses.
